We are looking for our next Educational Leader to join the leadership team at The Glennie School's Outside School Hours Care Service (OSHC).
This isn't just another educator role. You will spend part of your week alongside children, leading by example, and part of your week shaping the educational direction of our service. You will coach educators, lead reflective practice, oversee programming, support compliance, act as Responsible Person, and work closely with the Coordinator to continually improve educational outcomes for children, families and the wider service.
This role isn't about stepping away from children, it's about leading educational practice while remaining connected to it every day.

Located on one of Toowoomba's most idyllic and spacious campuses, The Glennie School is a Pre-Prep to Year 12 Anglican boarding and day school, empowering each girl to be All She Can Be.
Our OSHC service is an important part of the Glennie community, providing children with a welcoming and engaging space beyond the classroom.
About the Role
As our Educational Leader, you will play a key role in shaping educational practice across the service while supporting the day-to-day leadership of our team.
Working alongside the Coordinator, you will:
- Lead the development and continuous improvement of our educational program using the My Time, Our Place Framework (Version 2.0) and Early Years Learning Framework (Version 2.0)
- Mentor, coach and support educators to strengthen educational practice.
- Facilitate reflective practice and meaningful professional discussions.
- Guide programming, documentation and critical reflection.
- Drive Quality Improvement Plan initiatives and continuous improvement.
- Support compliance with the National Quality Framework, National Law and National Regulations.
- Build positive partnerships with children, families, educators and the wider school community.
- Act as Responsible Person during rostered shifts, supporting the daily operations of the service.
- Continue working directly with children through regular rostered ratio shifts, modelling high-quality practice and building strong relationships.

What You Will Bring
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience working in an education and care setting, preferably OSHC.
- A sound understanding of the My Time, Our Place Framework (Version 2.0) and Early Years Learning Framework (Version 2.0) or a willingness to further develop your knowledge.
- Knowledge of the Education and Care Services National Law and National Regulations.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Confidence leading, mentoring and supporting teams.
- A Positive Notice Blue Card for paid employment in accordance with the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000 (QLD) and Queensland's "No Card, No Start" requirements (or willingness to obtain).
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications (or willingness to obtain).
- Eligibility to be a Responsible Person under the Education and Care Services National Law.
