Full Job Description

We are looking for a full time chef 5 days a week - Tuesday -Sunday

The successful applicant will hold a culinary Certificate III or IV and Food Safety Certificate and at least one years full time experience in a busy restaurant or cafe and

There are no split shifts and no evening work, however you must be prepared to work weekends and be flexible with which weekdays you are available.

Key responsibilities

Preparing and cooking menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality
Assisting senior chefs with food preparation, including chopping, mixing, and cooking ingredients
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of your workstation and kitchen equipment
Following all food safety and hygiene protocols to ensure safe food handling practices
Collaborating with kitchen team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours
Assisting with stock rotation, inventory management, and ordering supplies as required
Supporting the kitchen team with plating and presentation of dishes to specification
