MSS Security is seeking suitably experienced personnel who are looking to further develop their leadership capabilities within one of MSS Security’s high-profile sites.

As a Court Security Supervisor, you will play a crucial leadership role in the delivery of security services and daily security operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Through effective leadership you will foster a culture of professionalism, safety, and continuous improvement amongst your team of security officers.
Monitor and manage courtroom security during hearings, ensuring a secure environment within the Magistrates Court.
Ensure all procedures and protocols are followed in line with MSS Security and client expectations.
Respond to and manage security incidents, emergencies, and critical events.
Liaise professionally with Magistrates Court staff, stakeholders, and visitors.
Screen individuals entering the court building and ensure all security protocols are followed.
Respond promptly and appropriately to incidents involving disruptive or aggressive behaviour.
Work collaboratively with court staff and law enforcement to manage high-risk situations.

Ideal candidates will have:

Prior experience in security, law enforcement or correctional facilities preferably in a high-profile or government environment.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to supervise, drive and mentor team members.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
A professional approach and high standards of personal presentation.

Requirements:

Full Australian working rights.
Valid Tasmanian Security licence.
Valid First Aid and CPR certificates.
Working With Vulnerable People (or willing to obtain).
Willing to undergo and pass a National Criminal History check.
