About the opportunity:
The Construction Supervisor is part of the Wilson Homes Multi residential Projects Construction team and reports to the General Manager. The key focus of this role is to manage the construction of multiple buildings within a site to deliver within project timelines and budgets. More specifically, you will:
- Manage the construction workflow of a multi-residential site ensuring work is carried out in accordance with the project documentation.
- Coordinate materials and trades to job sites to ensure timely construction of multiple dwelling across several projects
- Inspect completed work to ensure high standard of quality workmanship
- Manage the safety of the sites ensuring trades understand and are complying with the company Safety Management System and the WH&S legislation and internal operating systems
About you:
You will share a passion for our purpose and be aligned to our core values; better together, be accountable, people matter and think bigger. In addition, you will:
- A Building Trade Certificate or tertiary education in Construction Management
- Demonstrated experience within Residential or Civil construction
- Project Management and scheduling skills to coordinate multiple service providers and suppliers to complete homes within specific deadlines
- Considerable knowledge of the basic methods, practices, tools, materials and work standards related to the building of residential homes
- Ability to identify defects or problems proactively and take the necessary actions to rectify or prevent problems in an efficient manner
- Outstanding leadership, communication, and planning abilities with a passion for working in a fast-paced environment
