At Mörk, we transform cacao beans into chocolate from scratch. Behind every cup of hot chocolate, chocolate bar and morsel is a team committed to quality, craftsmanship and attention to detail.
We're looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Hand & Production Assistant team member to join us for approximately two shifts per week.
This is a hands-on role focused primarily on cleaning and maintaining our production spaces, while also supporting the team with packaging, bean sorting and general production tasks. It's ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, values high standards and takes pride in doing things properly.
About the role
This role plays an important part in helping our production teams operate safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Responsibilities include:
- Cleaning of equipment, benches, sinks and production areas
- Weekly deep cleaning of production spaces
- Washing equipment and utensils by hand (there is no commercial dishwasher)
- Maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards
- Packaging and labelling finished products
- Sorting cacao beans and supporting quality control processes
- Assisting with general production tasks as required
About you
You'll be someone who:
- Takes pride in keeping spaces clean, organised and well maintained
- Has exceptional attention to detail
- Works carefully and consistently, even when completing repetitive tasks
- Is comfortable with physical, hands-on work
- Is reliable, punctual and self-motivated
- Enjoys being part of a small, collaborative team
Experience in a pastry kitchen, bakery, commercial kitchen or food production environment would be highly regarded. This role may particularly suit someone with pastry, bakery or food production experience looking for an ongoing casual role with approximately two shifts per week.
