About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administration Officer to provide efficient and effective clerical and administrative support within Gunnedah District Hospital. This role is the first point of contact for patients and visitors, both face-to-face and via telephone, and plays a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Working days:

Wednesday: 7:00am – 3:30pm

Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
Key Responsibilities

Deliver professional and consistent customer service to patients, carers, and staff

Manage front desk operations, including phone and email enquiries
-
Accurately enter and maintain patient information using electronic medical record systems

Complete billing processes and maintain financial records
-
Provide administrative support to clinical and non-clinical staff
-
Order supplies and process invoices
-
Maintain organised and up-to-date filing systems in line with privacy and confidentiality requirements

Ensure all tasks are completed with a high degree of accuracy
