## Sales and Marketing Manager
## Position Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales and Marketing Manager to lead and execute strategic commercial initiatives across our organisation. This role is central to driving revenue growth, brand positioning, and market expansion through the effective management of both sales operations and marketing programmes. ## Key Responsibilities
- Formulate, implement, and continuously refine integrated sales and marketing strategies, ensuring alignment with broader organisational goals and growth targets
- Develop and oversee advertising, public relations, and promotional campaigns, working collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external agencies to maximise brand impact
- Establish and manage sales territories, customer service standards, and product mix to optimise market coverage and revenue performance
- Direct and coordinate the activities of sales personnel, agents, and distributors to ensure consistent execution of sales methods and commercial objectives
- Set pricing structures, credit arrangements, and discount frameworks in line with market conditions and company profitability targets
- Oversee merchandising methods and distribution policy, ensuring product availability and visibility across all relevant channels
- Monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to inform strategic decision-making and identify new business opportunities
- Develop and manage the sales and marketing budget, tracking expenditure and return on investment to ensure efficient allocation of resources
- Lead the generation and nurturing of leads across digital and traditional channels, converting pipeline opportunities into long-term client relationships
- Produce regular performance reports and present findings to senior leadership, providing data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders to support retention and business development
- Recruit, mentor, and develop team members, fostering a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and professional growth
## Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Commerce, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a sales and/or marketing management role, with demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding commercial targets
- Strong understanding of both B2B and B2C sales environments, including pipeline management and customer lifecycle strategies
- Proven experience developing and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, content, and traditional media
- Proficiency in CRM platforms and marketing automation tools, with the ability to leverage data for strategic insight
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to present to senior stakeholders and external partners
- Demonstrated leadership capability, with experience managing, coaching, and developing sales and marketing teams
- High level of commercial acumen and a customer-centric approach to business development
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results within deadlines
## Preferred Qualifications
- Postgraduate qualification such as a Master of Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent
- Professional accreditation with the Australian Marketing Institute (AMI) or a recognised industry body
- Experience working within a specific industry relevant to our business, such as retail, technology, professional services, or FMCG
- Familiarity with SEO, SEM, and performance marketing strategies, as well as experience managing digital advertising budgets
- Exposure to international or cross-regional markets, including an understanding of export or distribution networks
- Experience with sales enablement tools, marketing analytics platforms, or enterprise-level CRM systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot
