About the role:

As a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner you will be part of Australia’s largest positive behaviour support team with over 300 practitioners providing positive behaviour support services to NDIS participants and private clients across the lifespan.

This will involve:

Working with the client’s whole system of supports
Playing an integral part in contributing to clients’ goals and quality of life
Observing and assessing clients’ behaviours of concern
Creating behaviour support plans and implementation plans
Implementing your plan, as well as monitoring and reviewing

A mix of online induction training modules and appointment shadowing support by experienced practitioners from Team Leaders through to State Managers and Clinical Supervisors/Training Managers

Onsite management structure for face-to-face support
Dedicated teams for written report reviews and training, complex case management, and safety / risk review and support
Options for external training funded through bonus schemes

What are we looking for?

Strong foundational skills in Mental Health, Behaviour or Disability
Tertiary Qualifications in an allied health, human science or education field such as psychology, behaviour analysis (BCBA), social work, teaching/early childhood care, social sciences, criminology, counselling, occupational therapy, speech therapy, or nursing
Driver’s license and own vehicle
Ability to obtain required clearances (NDIS, Working with Children, Police Check)
