About Us

The Australian Institute for Human Wellness is a psychology clinic in Sydney's St George area, with a team of seven psychologists dedicated to improving the mental health of our community.

The Role

We're looking for an experienced, confident and down-to-earth receptionist to join our clinic three days a week, working closely with our Practice Manager and clinical team to keep the practice running smoothly.

Skills you will bring

● Reception experience in a healthcare setting

● Strong organisational, time management and multitasking skills

● Comfortable with scheduling, billing and Medicare/insurance processing

● Confident with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

● Zanda experience preferred, but not essential

● A warm, professional manner — you're often the first point of contact for our clients

● Reliable, detail-oriented and able to work autonomously

What You'll Do

● Greet clients, manage phone enquiries and schedule appointments

● Process payments and Medicare/insurance claims

● Maintain patient records and referral databases

● Support day-to-day admin, mail-outs and general clinic upkeep

● Assist with marketing and social media as needed

Details

● 3 days per week (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) 8.30am-5.30pm

● On-site only at Kogarah, NSW — this is not a work-from-home role
