Your Role & Team
As we continue to scale, we are excited to introduce a newly created role to the CreditorWatch Family.
We are on the lookout for an IT Team Lead to join our growing IT team. This role is both strategic and hands-on. You'll run projects end-to-end, uplift operational maturity, and provide day-to-day technical leadership without slowing delivery.
This won't be your average management role. You'll combine a highly technical skillset with people leadership, working smarter not harder, showing initiative and thinking outside the box, and coming to the table with process improvement initiatives and new ways of work.
You'll report directly to the Head of IT & InfoSec in this role.
Please note, it's a full-time opportunity offering hybrid working conditions out of our Sydney CBD Office.
Some of your responsibilities include and are not limited to:

Managing a team of IT Systems Engineers who do a mixture of end-user support, SaaS platform administration, identity and access management, and automation, while remaining hands-on yourself, and partnering with other teams on IT projects.

Owning the day-to-day operations and strategy for IT, balancing security, compliance and employee experience.

Managing workload, capacity and prioritisation across support and projects.

Providing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line technical support, maintaining strong technical oversight across identity, endpoints, networking and SaaS services.

Leading IT projects, including AI initiatives and system improvements.

Managing vendors, contracts and software licensing.

Coaching and developing IT Systems Engineers by providing regular, practical feedback to help them reach their personal growth goals.

Driving adoption of our systems internally, championing the benefits of what we roll out.
Our ideal candidate-
Proven experience leading or mentoring a small technical team, with a hands-on leadership style.

Strong technical background across SaaS platform administration (Microsoft 365, Jira, Confluence, Slack), Identity & Access Management (Okta, Microsoft Entra), and SSO technologies (OAuth, OIDC, SAML).

Experience delivering technical projects end-to-end across various technologies and platforms.

Experience with office networking, remote access (VPN/Zero Trust), and endpoint management across macOS and iOS.

Comfortable with scripting, APIs and automating repetitive tasks, with a mindset of continuous improvement.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences and manage stakeholder expectations.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities across support and project work.
