Description:
About the role

Acting as the Category Lead for Active Wellness and Personal Care, this role reports into the Head of Trade Marketing and Insights, and partners closely with Marketing and Sales to plan out Revenue Growth strategies (price, pack and promotional investment) and govern their implementation into market.

The role will develop category insights and strategies to identify growth opportunities and ensure those recommendations are converted into commercial plans that are disciplined, aligned and executed, supporting customer engagement and the critical range review processes.

This position is a trusted commercial insights partner responsible for translating data into recommendations through tools, frameworks and best practice that drive customer team performance, strengthens customer relationships, and category growth opportunities.

The key responsibilities include:
Revenue Growth Management

Identify revenue, margin and market share opportunities through optimised pricing, packs and trade investment.
Implement channel playbooks to ensure customer strategies support long-term category and channel growth objectives.
Manage portfolio price strategies and execution CPI price actions into customers.

Category Strategy & Growth Planning

Lead category deep-dives and opportunity assessments to identify growth opportunities and emerging trends.
Deliver forecasts and actionable strategies for annual brand and sales planning and customer engagment meetings.

Support the Range Review process with portfolio recommendations, customer-specific category and shopper insights.

Trade Investment Excellence

Drive best-practice promotional planning processes through our Trade Promotion Management Tool and other commercial planning tools.
Deliver promotional effectiveness reviews and recommendations.
Establish governance frameworks for trade investment management and return on investment.

Commercial Analytics and Insights

Influence commercial decisions through robust analysis and insights.
Ability to translate complex analysis into compelling business stories.
Manage syndicated data sources and commercial reporting tools.

This is a full time in office role based in Warriewood on Sydney's Northern beaches.

You believe in data to insights to action. You have exceptional analytical skills and a passion for sharing insights, using modelling, forecasting and reporting capabilities to deliver meaningful commercial recommendations.

3-4years in FMCG sales, category management, and revenue growth management and customer marketing principles.
Experience with data management tools, retailer reporting platforms, and keen to develop AI.
Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy.
Commercially curious with a focus on continuous improvement.
Stakeholder management and cross fucntional collaboration.
Strong presentation and communication skills.
