We’re looking for an experienced Brand Manager who plays a crucial role in facilitating the strategic development and execution of the Marley Spoon brand, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
You won’t just manage a brand—you’ll play a key role in shaping how Marley Spoon shows up to customers, driving innovation, product launches, customer experience improvements and integrated marketing campaigns.
Strategic Brand Leadership: Shape and execute the brand strategy, creating a long-term vision grounded in consumer insight, business objectives, and modern marketing capabilities, including the thoughtful use of AI and emerging technologies.
Drive Innovation & Product Expansions: Partner with the Culinary team to launch menu innovations, ensuring all marketing touchpoints - from merchandising to UX messaging—are optimised for commercial and brand success.
Campaign Project Ownership: Lead the development of quarterly brand campaign calendars and toolkits, coordinating and allocating production budgets for maximum impact and ROI.
Strategic Partnership Development: Identify and cultivate high-value relationships with prospective brand partners that create synergy and unlock new growth opportunities.
Website & Digital Brand Experience: Partner closely with Digital and Product teams to ensure the Marley Spoon brand is consistently represented across all customer-facing digital touchpoints, including website messaging, app content, onboarding journeys and key customer communications.
Customer Experience & Operational Communications: Lead the development of customer-facing communications relating to major operational and business changes, ensuring complex topics such as pricing updates, product changes, service enhancements and new initiatives are communicated clearly, effectively and in line with brand standards.
Brand Consistency & Content oversight: Act as a guardian of the Marley Spoon brand across all channels and customer touchpoints. Provide strategic content direction, review key customer-facing communications and partner with Content, CRM, Social and Digital teams to ensure consistency of tone, messaging and visual identity.
Customer Journey & Touchpoint Optimisation: Identify opportunities to strengthen the customer experience across key brand moments, including onboarding, packaging, website journeys and campaign landing pages, ensuring a cohesive and compelling brand experience.
Value Proposition & Customer Strategy: Partner with Commercial, Revenue and Product teams to strengthen Marley Spoon’s customer value proposition, ensuring messaging and propositions remain relevant to changing customer needs and market conditions.
AI-Enabled Insights & Experimentation: Leverage data, analytics, and AI-driven approaches to uncover insights, generate hypotheses, and run faster, more effective test-and-learn cycles across campaigns, channels, and customer journeys.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align diverse teams on strategy and execution, introducing smarter ways of working and leveraging new technologies where relevant to improve speed, output, and impact.
Customer Advocacy: Champion the voice of the customer across the organisation, ensuring decisions are grounded in real needs to build lasting brand loyalty.

This role collaborates closely with our European team. To enable meaningful overlap, you’ll adjust your schedule on certain days (typically 1–2 evenings per week), balanced by flexible hours.
You’ll bring:
A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
4-8 years of experience in brand manager roles within retail, grocery, consumer goods, or e-commerce.
Demonstrated ability to analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitive landscapes to drive strategic decisions.
Experience managing customer-facing digital touchpoints, including website content, customer journeys and digital communications.
Curiosity and working knowledge of AI tools, including large language models (LLMs), and how they can be applied to improve marketing effectiveness
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience translating complex business or operational changes into clear, customer-friendly messaging.
The ability to work across time zones and participate in weekly evening or morning calls.
Bonus points if you have:
Experience integrating AI into marketing workflows (e.g. insights generation, creative development, testing, optimisation)
Experience working with culinary or food-related brands.
Experience working in a global business with a matrix structure.
Postgraduate qualifications in Marketing or Business Administration.
