Join Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD), one of Australia's largest and most diverse healthcare providers, delivering high-quality care to a rapidly growing community. As part of our Allied Health Casual Pool, you'll have the opportunity to work across a range of hospital and community-based services, gaining valuable experience while contributing to outstanding patient outcomes.

Work across multiple WSLHD hospitals, facilities and community health sites
Collaborate with experienced multidisciplinary teams in dynamic healthcare environments
Gain exposure to a broad range of clinical specialties and patient populations
Be part of a supportive culture that values learning, teamwork and innovation
Access opportunities for short-term contracts of up to 13 weeks based on service needs

What you'll be doing
As a Casual Dietitian Level 1-2, you will deliver patient-centred nutrition and dietetic services to inpatients and outpatients across Western Sydney. You will play a key role in supporting patients to achieve optimal health outcomes through evidence-based assessment, intervention and education.

Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and provide dietetic counselling, nutrition support and therapeutic diet management
Deliver nutrition education to individuals and groups across inpatient, outpatient and community settings
Partner with multidisciplinary teams through ward rounds, case conferences and clinical consultations to support patient care
Contribute to clinical supervision, professional development, quality improvement and research activities
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and develop patient education resources aligned with best practice standards

Essential Criteria:

Qualification: Bachelor or Post Graduate Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics that provides eligibility for full membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia.

Selection Criteria:

Demonstrated ability to provide high quality clinical dietetic services across a broad range of clinical areas.

Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Effective time management skills and the ability to be agile and adaptable to work across a variety of settings at short notice.

Previous experience as a clinical dietitian.
