Full Job Description

BARISTA BARTENDER FOR LICENSED RESTAURANT + KIOSK AT COOGEE BEACH.

Are you a passionate barista/ bartender looking to join a vibrant team at a leading hospitality establishment? We are seeking a front of house barista bar tender to help deliver an exceptional customer experience. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality coffee drinks including alcoholic beverages and supporting the overall operations of the restaurant.

What you'll be doing

Operate the espresso machine to prepare a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and more
Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all coffee beverages
Additional knowledge of all bar work including making and mixing alcoholic drinks, cocktails, wines, pouring beers, spirits, serving all alcoholic beverages.
Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries and requests
Maintain a clean and organised workstation, following all health and safety procedures
Assist with inventory management and restocking of coffee and other supplies
Support the broader restaurant + kiosk operations as needed, including service

What we're looking for

Relevant experience: At least 2 year of experience as a barista or in a similar coffee-making bartender role
Have a valid RSA
Coffee expertise: Proficient in operating espresso machines and preparing a wide range of coffee drinks
Customer service focus: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for providing outstanding customer service
Attention to detail: Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in a fast-paced environment
Teamwork: Collaborative nature and willingness to support the broader cafe team as needed
