BARISTA BARTENDER FOR LICENSED RESTAURANT + KIOSK AT COOGEE BEACH.
Are you a passionate barista/ bartender looking to join a vibrant team at a leading hospitality establishment? We are seeking a front of house barista bar tender to help deliver an exceptional customer experience. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality coffee drinks including alcoholic beverages and supporting the overall operations of the restaurant.
What you'll be doing
- Operate the espresso machine to prepare a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and more
- Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all coffee beverages
- Additional knowledge of all bar work including making and mixing alcoholic drinks, cocktails, wines, pouring beers, spirits, serving all alcoholic beverages.
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries and requests
- Maintain a clean and organised workstation, following all health and safety procedures
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of coffee and other supplies
- Support the broader restaurant + kiosk operations as needed, including service
What we're looking for
- Relevant experience: At least 2 year of experience as a barista or in a similar coffee-making bartender role
- Have a valid RSA
- Coffee expertise: Proficient in operating espresso machines and preparing a wide range of coffee drinks
- Customer service focus: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for providing outstanding customer service
- Attention to detail: Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in a fast-paced environment
- Teamwork: Collaborative nature and willingness to support the broader cafe team as needed
