About Us:
We are a growing bakery known for high-quality pastries, custom cakes, and creative dessert experiences. We pride ourselves on craftsmanship, attention to detail, and delivering memorable products to our customers.

The Role:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pastry Chef & Cake Decorator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who combines technical baking expertise with artistic flair and enjoys working in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods to a high standard
Design and decorate custom cakes for weddings, birthdays, and special events
Work with fondant, buttercream, and other decorating techniques
Ensure consistency in product quality and presentation
Maintain a clean and organised workspace in line with food safety standards
Assist with menu development and seasonal creations
Manage stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients

Skills & Experience:

Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or Cake Decorator
Strong knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients
Experience with custom cake design and decoration
Creativity and attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently under pressure
Strong time management and organisational skills
Relevant qualifications (Certificate III in Patisserie or equivalent) preferred
