The ideal candidate brings solid hands-on technical experience, strong analytical capability, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This position suits a proactive professional who is committed to maintaining the highest standards of network performance and service delivery.
## Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain microwave, satellite, telemetry, and other radio and electromagnetic communication systems, ensuring all equipment operates to specification and within regulatory requirements.

- Solid understanding of network protocols, telecommunications standards, and systems integration principles.
- Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting network hardware, software, and associated technologies including switches, routers, and transmission equipment.
- Experience with network monitoring tools and fault management systems, with the ability to interpret performance data and take corrective action.
- Strong documentation skills with the ability to maintain accurate records, produce technical reports, and adhere to quality and compliance standards.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, work methodically under pressure, and deliver outcomes within agreed timeframes.
- A valid Australian driver's licence, as field-based work and site visits may be required.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call roster or undertake out-of-hours work when operational requirements demand.
## Preferred Qualifications
