Full-time Temporary, Clerk Grade 9/10 ($129,464 - $142,665 per annum) opportunity up to 30 June 2027 within the Delivery Unit team, based in Martin Place, Sydney CBD.

About the Role
The Delivery Unit is seeking a new Senior Associate to join the team on a temporary basis until 30 June 2027 (with the potential to extend or convert to ongoing).
This role sits in the Delivery & Engagement Branch within the Delivery Unit, working at the centre of government to coordinate and enable delivery of whole-of-government priorities, integrating strategic policy development and reform with implementation.
As a Senior Associate, you’ll work closely with agencies across government to monitor and report on key commitments and priorities. You’ll use your research, analysis and communication skills to support high-profile initiatives and provide clear, high-quality advice to the Premier, Cabinet and senior executives.
This is a fast-paced role where you’ll manage competing priorities, identify emerging issues and help keep delivery on track. A background in, or exposure to, infrastructure, housing, land or planning policy will be highly regarded.

About the Team
We are a collaborative team focused on driving delivery and accountability for Government priorities through effective whole-of-government coordination and proactive problem solving.

We're Looking For

Project Delivery: Experience managing project timelines, milestones and deliverables to meet deadlines

Analysis & Problem Solving: Strong research and critical thinking skills, able to interpret complex issues and develop practical solutions

Communication: Clear, concise writing skills with experience preparing briefs, reports or Cabinet submissions

Technical & Policy Exposure: Experience organising and presenting data (Excel/PowerPoint); exposure to infrastructure, housing or planning is advantageous

Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to work across agencies, build relationships and influence outcomes.

Salary: Classification Clerk Grade 9/10. Package includes base salary ($129,464 - $142,66 plus superannuation (12%) and leave loading.
