Due to ongoing business growth and increased demand for technology solutions, Len Wallis Audio Pty Ltd is seeking to employ a full-time ICT Sales Representative to join its team in Lane Cove, NSW.

Position Overview

The ICT Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting and selling information and communication technology (ICT) hardware, software, and related services to business and retail customers. The role requires analysing customer requirements, recommending appropriate technology solutions, preparing quotations, managing sales transactions, and maintaining strong customer relationships.

The position contributes to the company’s continued growth by supporting sales operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and identifying opportunities to expand the market for ICT products and services.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

The duties of the position include, but are not limited to:

Consulting with business clients to assess their ICT requirements and recommending suitable hardware, software, and system configurations to support operational needs.
Assisting individual customers in identifying ICT requirements and recommending appropriate products and solutions.
Explaining product features, technical specifications, and compatibility between ICT systems to support informed purchasing decisions.
Preparing quotations, negotiating pricing and credit terms where appropriate, and processing sales transactions.
Completing contracts, maintaining sales documentation, and recording customer orders accurately.
Arranging delivery of goods, installation of equipment, and coordination of related services.
Following up with clients to ensure satisfaction with ICT products and services purchased and addressing any issues that arise.
Providing post-sale support including basic diagnostic troubleshooting and coordinating warranty claims where necessary.
Liaising with ICT distributors and internal procurement teams to ensure product compatibility and manage delivery timeframes.
Monitoring stock levels and assisting with inventory management to maintain product availability.
Preparing sales reports and providing feedback to management regarding product demand and market trends.
Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and business expenses.

Skills and Experience

Essential Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
At least one year of relevant experience in the ICT, computer hardware, or software retail industry.
Demonstrated knowledge of ICT hardware, software, and system compatibility.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to analyse customer requirements and recommend appropriate technology solutions.
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Desirable

Experience working with corporate or enterprise technology clients.
Strong customer service orientation and ability to build long-term client relationships.
