Production Crew Member – Asphalt | Rosehill NSW
Full-time opportunity | Day & Night Shift flexibility
Level 2 Pay Rate: $43.98 per hour (as per EBA)

Join our Rosehill team as a full-time Production Crew Member and play a key role in the safe and efficient manufacture of asphalt. This role is ideal for someone with asphalt manufacturing experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and a safety-first mindset.

About the Role
Based at our Rosehill asphalt plant, you’ll be a vital member of the production crew, responsible for operating and maintaining mobile plant equipment while ensuring all safety, quality, and production standards are met. Your key responsibilities will include:

Operating mobile equipment to support asphalt production
Assisting with plant operations and general production tasks
Performing basic maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment
Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and quality procedures
Working collaboratively as part of a skilled production team

About You
To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:

General Construction Induction Card (White Card) – essential
Mechanical skills – trade background or mechanically minded experience highly regarded
Asphalt manufacturing experience or experience in a similar industrial environment (desirable)
Competency operating Front End Loaders, Skid Steers, and Forklifts
A strong, positive attitude and ability to work well in a team
Flexibility to work day and night shifts as required
A genuine commitment to Downer’s Zero Harm safety culture
