About the Opportunity & Brand:

Please note: This position is strictly for Sydney-based candidates. Fully remote work is not suitable for this contract, as regular on-site attendance is mandatory.

Commitment: Retainer agreement for 16 hours per week (equivalent to 2 days per week), structured as a hybrid arrangement requiring regular time spent on-site at our Matraville facility and traveling to local Sydney project locations.

We are KEIM Australia, a global leader in high-performance mineral silicate protection systems. For over 145 years globally—and 35 years locally in Australia—we have improved built environments with our non-toxic, eco-friendly mineral silicate paints. Our unique offering chemically binds to building materials rather than just coating the surface, delivering unprecedented durability and a depth of colour unmatched by ordinary acrylic paints.

We are transitioning our marketing operations to Sydney to make our brand presence more direct, responsive, and dynamic. We are seeking a highly proactive, creative Digital Marketing & Content Contractor who brings fresh growth ideas to the table. You will spend core hours collaborating at our Sydney facility and visiting active local project sites to capture live, real-world media.

Scope of Deliverables & Monthly Framework:

You will inherit an established marketing foundation (including asset libraries, templates, and content pillars) and take full ownership of the following monthly pipeline:

Social Media Execution: Develop, schedule, and maintain a highly consistent content calendar consisting of exactly 2 targeted LinkedIn posts per week (B2B focus) and 2 Instagram posts per week, while proactively building our presence on TikTok and YouTube.
On-Site Project Content Capture: Go beyond the office desk. You will travel to local Sydney construction, heritage, and design sites to shoot raw photo/video assets of our products in action and compile real-world case studies.
Wix Website Content Updates: Manage the front-end content of our existing Wix website. (No back-end development required—you will focus on uploading new blogs, updating case studies, refreshing project imagery, and ensuring layouts stay crisp).
Email Marketing & Design: Utilise our existing templates to design and deploy 1x high-quality targeted monthly email newsletter to nurture our database of architects, painters, and homeowners.
Creative Collateral & Events: Bring a sharp eye to help design, update, and polish marketing brochures, product flyers, and provide creative promotional support for local showroom events.

Our Voice & Core Offering:

Our brand voice balances deep technical Expertise and Confidence with a Light-Hearted, Human touch. You will tailor content to our three core audiences: Applicators (trade professionals), Designers (architects/specifiers), and DIY Homeowners, weaving in our key differentiators like our exclusive Cradle to Cradle (C2C) sustainability status and unmatched lifespan.

What You Bring (Requirements):

Must be currently based in Sydney with the capacity to routinely work from our Matraville office and travel to local project locations (interstate or fully remote applicants will not be considered).
A registered ABN and your own professional toolkit (BYO laptop, smartphone, creative/video-editing software licenses).
Proven experience building brand presence across B2B channels (LinkedIn) and highly visual platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube).
Prior experience in the Architecture & Design (A&D) sector, with a background in executing new product launches to this market (Highly Desirable).
Willingness and capability to travel to local Sydney project sites to capture real-time content.
Comfortable with front-end content management on Wix.
Strong foundational skills in graphic design (Canva or Adobe Creative Suite) and email marketing platforms.
Exceptional copywriting skills: the ability to translate technical concepts into plainspoken, warm, and highly structured copy.
