IT Support Technician

We are seeking a capable and career-focused IT Support Technician to join our Sunshine Coast team for

approximately 20 hours per week.

This is a professional, client-facing role supporting businesses, schools and non-profit organisations. Technical

ability is essential — but how you communicate, respond under pressure and represent the business matters

just as much.

We are looking for someone who is dependable, self-directed and motivated to grow.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

Installation, support and repair of Windows and macOS computers and iOS devices
Email configuration and Microsoft 365 user support
Network setup, troubleshooting and wireless configuration
Diagnosing hardware and peripheral issues (printers, projectors, etc.)
Managing support requests professionally and efficiently
Communicating clearly and confidently with clients at all technical levels

Essential Criteria (Non-Negotiable)

Applicants must:

Be completing or have completed a tertiary qualification in IT
Have hands-on experience in a professional environment supporting both Windows and macOS environments
Have a working understanding of IT systems and networking fundamentals
Be able to independently diagnose and resolve common PC, Mac and peripheral issues
Demonstrate strong customer service experience
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Present professionally when attending client sites
Hold a current driver’s licence and have reliable access to a vehicle
Hold (or be willing to obtain) a Working With Children Check and Police Check
Have full working rights in Australia
