DESCRIPTION

AWS Professional Services is seeking a Principal Delivery Consultant for Agentic AI Transformation.

The Opportunity
You'll serve as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise customers who are actively reshaping their industry using AI. You will be a technical counterpart to customer executives who speak fluent AI and expect their AWS Pr. Delivery Consultant to match that depth and push the conversation further.

What Makes This Role Different
This role:

Shapes the technical agenda for the account and operates at the C-Suite level
Builds net-new architectures that become the reference
Focuses on business outcomes
Influences company-wide AI strategy
Span GenAI, ML platforms, agentic systems, data, and infrastructure

Basic qualifications

10+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
Experience architecting, migrating, transforming or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud
Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences and at C-level, including training, workshops, publications

Preferred qualifications

Knowledge of distributed systems design and implementation or equivalent
Knowledge of database design and implementation or equivalent
Experience in cloud architecture and CXO level engagement
Experience leading the design, automation, deployment, and support of large-scale infrastructure

Build: create solutions that scale from prototype to production, reference implementations, and production-ready architectures that prove the value of new AI capabilities at scale
Serve as the trusted technical voice : shaping the industry-level conversation on AI
Access the full power of AWS: engage specialist teams, applied science resources, and product groups to deliver outcomes that no single team could achieve alone
Pioneer new patterns: the solutions you build define how the industry approaches agentic AI, model orchestration, and intelligent automation
Mentor the next generation: develop Delivery Consultants who can operate at this altitude and complexity

A day in the life
A day in the life
This is a builder role. You will:

Architect agentic AI systems: design multi-agent orchestration frameworks, model fine-tuning pipelines, and real-time inference platforms that serve hundreds of millions of users
Prototype to Production : build working POCs that scale to production solutions and demonstrate the art of the possible, turning executive vision into deployable architectures in days, not quarters
Shape AI product strategy: sit in the room where roadmaps are set, influencing not just how but what gets built, both at the customer and within AWS
Drive the technical relationship: own the end-to-end technical strategy for the customer.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, or a related field
Experience managing and delivering large-scale enterprise IT projects
Experience with IT compliance and risk management requirements (e.g. security, privacy, SOX, HIPAA etc.)
Experience with software development life cycle (sdlc) and agile/iterative methodologies

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of compliance and security standards across the enterprise IT landscape
Experience implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing environments
Experience managing executive customer relationships and key business stakeholders
Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (like TOGAF, Zachman) and identifying the relationships between business services, information, applications and global infrastructure assets
Experience with enterprise systems including SAP, Oracle, and custom applications
