Position: Tyre Fitter / Tyre Technician

Key Responsibilities

Skills and Requirements

Basic mechanical aptitude.
Ability to use tyre-changing and wheel-balancing machinery.
Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy tyres.
Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver's licence (often preferred or required).
Previous tyre fitting or automotive experience is advantageous but not always necessary.

Working Conditions

Work is usually performed in tyre shops, automotive workshops, dealerships, or mobile tyre service vehicles.
May involve standing for long periods and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Some employers require weekend, after-hours, or roadside assistance work.

Pay: $60,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
