Who We Are: Facilinet Building Maintenance Pty Ltd (FBM) is a fast-growing service provider to the hospitality industry, managing multiple sites across NSW, VIC, QLD and ACT. Our team supports hotels with various services, predominantly in Housekeeping and Public Area Cleaning. At FBM, we pride ourselves on our transparent foundation, forward-thinking approach, commitment and dedication to team growth fuel our success – with over 500 staff across multiple sites and a growing head office team, we are passionate and committed to building strong, engaged teams and empowering our people to grow.

Who we are looking for: We are seeking a motivated and “keen to make their mark” Housekeeping Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role is based in Melbourne, with opportunities for both Full-Time and Permanent Part-Time positions. You’ll be at the heart of our operations, guiding the housekeeping team to deliver exceptional service while ensuring cleanliness and compliance in every corner of the hotel.

We are looking for a leader who will be key in:

Assisting with the on-site training and onboarding of new team members; managing initial introductions to site, ensuring all relevant induction documentation is completed and that colleagues are trained in site policies and procedures
Conducting performance reviews and mentor the team for success.
Manage the cleanliness of hotel rooms and corridors, ensuring high standards.
Ensuring sufficient stock of amenities is available to the team
Forecasting required staffing levels and rostering the team accordingly
Preparing the day ahead by allocating/assigning rooms to the Attendant team, carrying out daily briefings and assigning checklists to the Public Area staff and Housepersons
Finalizing paperwork from the day, filing completed checklists, following up on outstanding job orders and concluding room counts and timesheets from the team
Communicating at a high level with the Front Office and Maintenance departments to ensure smooth operation
Review daily reports, finalize paperwork, and ensure tasks are completed

What we are looking for:

Previous experience in a housekeeping site supervisor or supervisory role
Passionate about Housekeeping and building strong engaged teams
High level of work ethic and integrity
Strong attention to detail and ability to guide others in this respect
Demonstrated success in a fast-paced hospitality role
Ability to manage multiple priorities and complete tasks in a timely manner
Ability to take initiative and work collaboratively with the rest of the hotel departments
A collaborative approach and a positive, problem-solving mindset
A professional, positive and ‘can do’ attitude
Proactive, with a passion for continuous improvement
Availability to work varied shifts, including weekends
