As a Senior Area Manager, you'll play a pivotal leadership role in shaping performance, lifting operational excellence, and developing exceptional leaders across a high performing region. Partnering closely with the State Operations Manager, you'll influence standards, accountability, and culture across multiple venues while helping shape the way we operate as we continue to scale.
This is a role where you will lead through influence. You will coach, challenge, and develop leaders to consistently deliver at a high level while contributing to broader business growth. You'll bring a strong commercial and operational lens while remaining highly connected to the people, performance, and opportunities within your venues.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide senior operational leadership across your region, influencing performance, standards, and accountability across multiple venues.
- Lead a group of venues through strong coaching and support of Venue Managers.
- Drive results across people, sales, labour, COGS, profitability, guest experience, and operational efficiency.
- Lift operational execution by identifying opportunities, embedding consistency, and supporting leaders to deliver sustainable results.
- Build a high performing culture that balances accountability, development, engagement and recognition.
- Stay highly visible across your region with a hands-on leadership approach that keeps you connected to the detail, the people, and the opportunities.
- Drive operational excellence through strong oversight of audits, compliance, stock control, labour management, and reporting.
- Use performance insights, audits, and commercial data to influence decisions and drive continuous improvement.
- Protect and elevate product quality, guest experience, and brand standards as the business continues to grow.
- Partner closely with Marketing and Support Office teams to deliver local initiatives, activations, and venue success.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, compliance, and operational best practice.
About you:
- 5+ years’ experience in an Area Manager, operations manager or equivalent position within hospitality or QSR
- Experience directly managing and influencing Senior leaders and Venue Managers or equivalent leadership roles
- Strong commercial capability across sales, labour, COGS, profitability, and cost control.
- A proactive, people-first leader who takes ownership and leads through influence.
- Exceptional coaching and development skills with a track record of building high-performing teams.
- Strong ability to balance people leadership, operational execution, and commercial outcomes.
- A leader who sets clear expectations, holds standards high, and drives accountability.
- Hands-on, proactive, and highly engaged.
