Every week, hundreds of travellers walk through our doors chasing a good time and a good story. You're the one who gives it to them. As our Hostel Bartender you run the Back Room — pouring the drinks, hosting the welcome nights and setting the vibe that turns a room full of strangers into a crowd.

It's a small bar with a big personality. Some cocktails, nothing complicated, no food service, no late nights. Just you, a full room and the kind of energy people travel across the world to find.

What you'll do

Meet hundreds of new people every week and make every one of them feel like a regular
Host the welcome drinks and create the vibe that gets the night started
Own the bar's revenue and chase the upside — the harder you sell, the more you make
Team up with other hostels in the area to promote event nights and keep the Back Room buzzing
Pour a solid range of drinks and a few cocktails — nothing too complicated, and no food service to slow you down
Keep the bar sharp — stocked, clean and running smooth when it's packed
