Every week, hundreds of travellers walk through our doors chasing a good time and a good story. You're the one who gives it to them. As our Hostel Bartender you run the Back Room — pouring the drinks, hosting the welcome nights and setting the vibe that turns a room full of strangers into a crowd.
It's a small bar with a big personality. Some cocktails, nothing complicated, no food service, no late nights. Just you, a full room and the kind of energy people travel across the world to find.
What you'll do
- Meet hundreds of new people every week and make every one of them feel like a regular
- Host the welcome drinks and create the vibe that gets the night started
- Own the bar's revenue and chase the upside — the harder you sell, the more you make
- Team up with other hostels in the area to promote event nights and keep the Back Room buzzing
- Pour a solid range of drinks and a few cocktails — nothing too complicated, and no food service to slow you down
- Keep the bar sharp — stocked, clean and running smooth when it's packed
