N-essentials Pty Ltd, based in Keysborough Melbourne, is an online, niche supplier of raw materials that B2B and B2C consumers can use to formulate and produce their own skincare, cosmetics, personal care, hair care and household products.

Job description

We currently have a permanent, full time vacancy available in our clean modern warehouse in Keysborough Melbourne. The type of candidate we are looking for must be fit and energetic and who is looking for a long term position as a warehouse assistant/admin officer in manufacturing. Australian working rights and/or permanent residency is mandatory.

The successful candidate will be subject to a 6 month probation period.

The candidate must be willing to work in a warehouse environment performing a variety of tasks including:

Dispensing, repacking and labelling finished products for sale
Pick and pack products to fulfil customer orders
Restock shelves and pallets for dispensing and repacking
Load and unload products from transport
Assist in dispatching orders
Occasional heavy lifting up to 20kgs
Maintain clean and safe workspace
Administration work involving product labelling, receiving goods on computer systems, carry out fulfilment process in the Inventory Management System, record inventory tracking data such as batch numbers, expiry dates etc.
Attend to customer service queries in person/over the counter, phone or email
Assist in general warehouse and office duties as required

Warehouse duties comprise approximately 80% of the time whilst the balance of the time will involve office administration duties.

The minimum qualifications & experience required are:

Secondary education up to Year 12 or equivalent
Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required

The skills required include:

Good Organisation and Time Management
Good Numeracy
Good hand-eye co-ordination is vital
Ability to meet targets and to work efficiently and accurately
Bending, flexing and lifting is required. Some heavy lifting involved.
Ability to stand for extended periods
Great attention to detail
Comfortable with performing repetitive tasks and activities
Flexibilty and adaptability with different tasks
Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word and Excel)
Adept on the computer and willingness to learn

Training will be provided. Hours of work are around 9am to 5:10pm Monday to Friday except for public holidays. Full time hours of 38 hours per week.

A base salary of $55K to $57K will be offered plus 12% Superannuation plus an annual performance bonus
