Full Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Painter / Blaster to join our client's team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with industrial painting and abrasive blasting experience who are committed to quality and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform abrasive blasting to clean and prepare metal surfaces.
Mix, prepare, and apply industrial primers and protective coatings using spray equipment.
Inspect prepared surfaces and coating thickness to ensure quality standards are met.
Mask and protect areas not requiring blasting or painting.
Safely operate and maintain blasting pots, compressors, spray guns, and associated equipment.
Follow all Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) procedures, including correct PPE use and safe handling of paints and chemicals.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience as an Industrial Painter / Blaster.
Experience with abrasive blasting and spray painting equipment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.
White Card (preferred).
Forklift Licence and/or EWP Licence (advantageous but not essential).
