Position Overview
The Systems Analyst is responsible for analysing, designing and evaluating information systems and business processes that support A2Z Golf and A2Z Promotions’ operations, including customised promotional product production, in‑house embroidery, warehousing, inventory management, and online sales.
The role focuses on identifying system‑based solutions to improve operational efficiency, data integrity, production accuracy and digital transaction workflows across logistics, manufacturing, wholesale and e‑commerce functions. The Systems Analyst acts as a key liaison between business users, operational teams and technology platforms, ensuring that systems align with current and future business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Systems Analysis & Business Process Improvement
· Work with internal stakeholders to identify, analyse and document business requirements, workflows and system dependencies across production, warehousing, logistics and sales operations.
· Analyse existing business processes, procedures and system functionality to identify inefficiencies, risks and opportunities for improvement through technology‑enabled solutions.
· Evaluate current systems supporting embroidery digitising, inventory control, order management, CRM and e‑commerce, and recommend enhancements to improve scalability, accuracy and performance.
· Develop functional specifications, process maps and data models to support system improvements and integrations.
Information Systems Evaluation & Solution Design
· Assess the suitability of existing and proposed software applications, including Cin7, Wilcom embroidery digitising software, Shopify, CRM platforms and cloud‑based solutions.
· Provide advice on the adoption of cloud‑based and digital systems to replace or streamline manual and semi‑manual processes within production and logistics environments.
· Work with internal users and external vendors to ensure systems meet defined business and operational requirements.
· Support the deployment of functional system solutions, including system configuration, testing, implementation and post‑deployment review.
Systems Implementation & Support
· Coordinate and support system upgrades, integrations and enhancements, ensuring minimal operational disruption.
· Develop and execute system testing plans to validate functionality, data integrity and usability.
· Provide guidance and support to users during system changes, including preparation of user documentation and delivery of structured training.
· Act as a central reference point for system‑related enquiries, providing expert advice to assist operational and management decision‑making.
Data Analysis & Reporting
· Analyse production, sales and operational data across multiple systems to support management reporting and business planning.
· Design and maintain system‑generated reports and dashboards to monitor performance indicators such as sales trends, inventory movement, production throughput and user activity.
· Ensure data accuracy, consistency and security across integrated business systems.
Skills and Experience
Essential
· Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex business processes and information systems.
· Demonstrated experience analysing and supporting business systems within a production, logistics, warehousing or e‑commerce environment.
· Experience working with enterprise and specialised systems such as Cin7, CRM platforms and embroidery digitising software (e.g. Wilcom).
· Ability to document business requirements, functional specifications and system processes.
· Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Highly Regarded
· Experience supporting system integration between inventory, production, POS and e‑commerce platforms such as Shopify.
· Advanced Excel or data analysis skills for extracting, analysing and interpreting business system data.
· Exposure to IT system implementation projects, including testing, deployment and user training.
· Experience improving business processes within wholesale, promotional products, apparel or manufacturing environments.
