As a Data Centre OEM Specialist, you will lead strategic business growth within the rapidly expanding data centre sector. This role is responsible for advancing Victaulic solutions by influencing specifications, identifying upcoming data centre developments, building relationships across the design and construction ecosystem, and driving early-stage engagement with owners, consultants, contractors, and key industry stakeholders.
Assess the data centre market within the region to prioritise key accounts, high‑value projects, and annual growth opportunities.
Build and execute a targeted business plan to expand Victaulic’s influence through specification work and strategic market positioning.
Identify emerging data centre project activity through research, consultants, developers, and industry intelligence.
Influence owner standards, consultant specifications, and design preferences to drive adoption of Victaulic solutions early in project cycles.
Collaborate cross‑functionally—capturing project data in Salesforce, coordinating handoffs, and working with engineering and sales teams to deliver complete solutions.
Maintain deep knowledge of design trends, competitor strategies, sustainability requirements, and evolving mechanical system technologies.
Develop strong industry relationships and represent Victaulic through events, presentations, networking, and ongoing client engagement.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or similar field (highly preferred).
Demonstrated experience in business development or technical sales within the data centre, mechanical, HVAC, construction, or engineering sector.
Must have data center owner groups contacts to be qualified.
Proven success in specification influence, strategic account development, and complex sales cycles.
Experience with mission-critical infrastructure, chilled water systems, mechanical piping, EPC delivery models, or data centre design preferred.
Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
Self-starter with high levels of autonomy, resilience, and adaptability.
Willingness to travel overnight as needed for client meetings, site visits, and industry events
