What You'll Be Doing

This is more than just managing a team — it's about inspiring a group of talented Claims Consultants to be their absolute best, every single day. You'll:

Lead and develop a team managing a portfolio of home claims, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability
Coach, motivate and mentor your team to consistently meet and exceed performance objectives
Champion service quality by ensuring high standards of process adherence and customer experience
Drive smarter decisions through workload prioritisation, claim review and authorisation, and performance reporting
Collaborate widely across underwriting, assessing, suppliers, complaints and builders to deliver seamless claim outcomes
Shape the future by contributing to strategic initiatives that continuously improve Claims performance
Influence at all levels by providing input into staffing, recruitment and system development

What You'll Bring

Proven experience managing claims (home insurance highly regarded)
A strong track record of leading, developing and coaching people
The ability to guide your team confidently through change
Exceptional communication, negotiation and influencing skills
High-level analytical and critical thinking skills to support sound decision-making
Outstanding attention to detail with the ability to make tough calls under pressure
A collaborative mindset with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
Proven ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
