POSITION: Carpenter
REPORTS TO: Operations/Site Supervisor
SALARY: $76,515 - $80,000 per year
Acero Construction operates as a vertically integrated building, construction and manufacturing business. We operate in the residential, commercial and modular building arena. Through various acquisitions and business extensions, the current structure now operates as a diversified and vertically integrated construction, manufacturing and building company. Acero Construction therefore requires qualified and experienced CARPENTER(s) as part of its operations and construction team full-time at our Perth locations.
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our growing team in Jandakot and Henderson, Western Australia. You will be involved in a range of projects from framing and fit-outs to finishing works across multiple sites. This role is ideal for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering high-standard workmanship.
JOB SUMMARY
a. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the carpentry industry
b. Expected salary: $76,515 - $80,000 per year
c. Permanent - Full time hours;
d. Looking for candidates who are available to work construction industry hours;
e. Working rights required for this role.
JOB LOCATION:
Based out of Jandakot WA 6164 | Western Australia
KEY TASKS AND DUTIES:
a. Perform all aspects of carpentry including framing, roofing, cladding, doors, windows, and interior fit-outs, decking and/or painting touch-ups;
b. Installation and complexing of modular homes / other buildings;
c. Interpret technical drawings and plans to meet design specifications;
d. Work effectively with other trades and team members on-site;
e. Ensure work complies with safety regulations and company standards;
f. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
a. Relevant qualification (e.g., Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent);
b. Minimum 3 years of experience in the carpentry trade;
c. Strong knowledge of building codes and safety procedures;
d. Ability to read and interpret plans and technical drawings;
e. Physically fit and capable of performing manual labour;
f. Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player;
g. Has a valid WA Motor Driver License (preferred).
