We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Carpenter / Joiner to join our manufacturing team at our O'Connor facility.
About the Role
This is a full-time permanent position based in O'Connor, Western Australia. Working within our production team, you will manufacture and assemble cabinetry and joinery products while maintaining high standards of quality, safety and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture and assemble cabinetry and joinery components.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and production documentation.
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand and power tools safely.
- Assemble ready-to-assemble cabinetry and custom joinery products.
- Install hardware and fittings to specification.
- Carry out quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment.
- Work collaboratively with production staff to meet production schedules.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A relevant trade qualification in Carpentry or Joinery (Certificate III or equivalent).
- A minimum of one to two years' relevant post-qualification experience in carpentry, cabinet making or joinery.
- Experience working with cabinetry or commercial joinery products.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret plans and drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workmanship.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
