Wolli Creek Family Practice is a well-established and patient-focused medical practice dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare services to our community. We have been serving the community of Wolli Creek and surrounding suburbs for over 18 years and we pride ourselves on our friendly and professional environment, where both patients and staff feel valued and supported.

Our team consists of general practitioners and registered nurses who provide a range of services.

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and organised Medical Receptionist to join our team for the long term to work Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays.

This role is perfect for someone with excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

The position is available now with training available to commence as soon as is possible for the successful applicant.

Key Responsibilities:

Greeting patients in a warm and professional manner
Managing appointments, patient bookings, and inquiries via phone, email, and in person
Processing billing, Medicare claims, and payments
Maintaining patient records and ensuring confidentiality
Assisting doctors and medical staff with administrative tasks
Ensuring the reception area remains tidy and well-organised
Handling general office duties and responding to correspondence

What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience in a medical reception or administration role is essential
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Best Practice PMS or a willingness to learn
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
High level of professionalism and confidentiality
A compassionate and friendly attitude towards patients
Knowledge of Medicare and private health billing (advantageous)
