Senior Project Officer – Paediatric (ACCESS) Advice, Coordination and Clinical Support System Project
About the Role
This is a Fixed Term Part Time position for 6 months at 48 hours per fortnight within the Victorian Paediatric Clinical Network.
You will be responsible for leading the delivery of the Paediatric (ACCESS) Advice, Coordination and Clinical Support System Project which aims to define state-wide pathways for non-urgent subspecialty advice and facilitate care closer to home. You will work closely with the Department of Health, Monash Children’s Hospital and The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) and engage extensively with Victorian Local Health Service Networks to advance project activities and meet agreed deliverables.
Classification for this position will range from AO71 - AO75 ($114,436.40 - $124,912.84 per annum pro rata).

Lead project activities from beginning to completion including planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.

Build and sustain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the Victorian Health System.

Contribute to state-wide paediatric improvement and planning activities.
Your skills and experience

Experience with project management in complex healthcare environments.

Proven ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders

Strong understanding of clinical healthcare delivery, particularly within the Victorian Health System.

About the Department
The Victorian Paediatric Clinical Network (VPCN) is a formal partnership of Victorian health services delivering acute paediatric care, established to improve the health, development and wellbeing of children and young people across the state. The VPCN plays a key role in shaping the future of paediatric health services in Victoria that prioritises timely, appropriate care close to home. It acts as both a clinical reference group and a collaborative platform, enabling coordinated action and shared learning across member services.
For administrative purposes VPCN staff are employed by The Royal Children’s Hospital, as part of the Strategy, Planning and Performance Division. This role reports to the VPCN Manager.

Current, full driver’s licence for the State of Victoria
