Cadox Building Design is the leading Architectural Design and Drafting Firm in the Eastern Suburbs with over 25 years’ experience in the industry. Our Company handles all aspects of Design, Drafting and Town Planning and has a proud reputation for producing high quality Drafting solutions for all projects from Extensions, Luxury Homes, Single & Multi Unit Residential Developments, Factories, Office Tenancy & Shop Fit outs.

Cadox Building Design is looking for an IN-HOUSE Architectural Draftsperson with Residential Experience to join our close-knit team.

About Role and Key Benefits We Offer:

Full time position, 9:00am – 5:00pm, Monday – Friday. Part-time or school friendly hours can be discussed for the right candidate.
Position requires Council, Client Liaison and Site Visits to complete measure-ups.

Salary Package:

Excellent salary package offer based on experience and qualifications with opportunities to grow as experience and knowledge improve. Offer is negotiable.

Key Skills and Experience the Ideal Applicant will have:

A tertiary qualification in Architectural Drafting.
Must have Residential Drafting experience (minimum 5 years preferred).
Proficiency in the use of AUTOCAD and REVIT.
Pride in creating accurate and detailed drawings based on architectural concepts and specifications.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), when liaising with clients, consultants, and council.
Sound technical knowledge and understanding of ResCode, National Construction Code, Australian Standards, and Local Planning Schemes.
A strong work ethic, self-motivated, and the ability to work to deadlines, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
Positive attitude and able to follow instructions from team leaders.
Ability to work in both a team environment and autonomously.
Ability to collaborate with other team members and external consultants to ensure alignment with project goals.
Ability to follow instruction.
Experience in a similar role preferred.
Current Victorian License and access to car is essential.
Fluent English language skills that demonstrate professionalism.
