About Us
Addikted to Ink is one of Australia’s leading tattoo studios, known for developing artists in a real studio environment. We’re looking for committed, creative individuals who are serious about building a career in tattooing.

About the Role
We’re offering a hands-on tattoo apprenticeship based in our Melbourne studio. This is an opportunity to learn directly in a working studio, build your skills from the ground up, and understand what it takes to become a professional tattoo artist.

This is not a short course — it’s a structured, long-term pathway into the industry.

What You’ll Be Doing

Learning fundamental tattoo techniques on practice skin
Supporting day-to-day studio operations
Observing and assisting experienced artists
Maintaining studio cleanliness and hygiene standards
Progressing into tattooing real clients as your skills develop

Apprenticeship Details

9-month program
3 days per week:
Monday–Wednesday or Thursday–Saturday
Full days starting from 9:00 AM
Based in-studio (Melbourne)

Important

This is an unpaid apprenticeship
Most apprentices work a separate job alongside the program

What We’re Looking For

Strong passion for tattooing and art
Good work ethic and willingness to learn
Reliable and committed to the full program
Positive attitude and ability to take feedback
Portfolio of artwork (preferred)
