About the Role
We’re offering a hands-on tattoo apprenticeship based in our Melbourne studio. This is an opportunity to learn directly in a working studio, build your skills from the ground up, and understand what it takes to become a professional tattoo artist.
This is not a short course — it’s a structured, long-term pathway into the industry.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Learning fundamental tattoo techniques on practice skin
- Supporting day-to-day studio operations
- Observing and assisting experienced artists
- Maintaining studio cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Progressing into tattooing real clients as your skills develop
Apprenticeship Details
- 9-month program
- 3 days per week:
- Monday–Wednesday or Thursday–Saturday
- Full days starting from 9:00 AM
- Based in-studio (Melbourne)
Important
- This is an unpaid apprenticeship
- Most apprentices work a separate job alongside the program
