Full Job Description

Are you looking for your first job? We are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic and hardworking junior team member to join our friendly team.

No previous experience is required—we provide full training to help you succeed.

About the Role

As a Junior Mail & Parcel Sorter, you'll support both our front counter and back-office operations. Your primary responsibilities will involve sorting, organizing and preparing mail and parcels, with opportunities to develop customer service skills and learn counter operations over time.

Availability Required

Monday to Friday
Between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm

A Typical Day May Include

Sorting, organising and labelling incoming mail and parcels
Preparing outward mail for dispatch
Assisting staff at the counter (training provided)
Assisting with stocktaking, record keeping and other administrative tasks
Maintaining a clean, safe workplace and following Australia Post's Workplace Health and Safety standards

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is:

Friendly, reliable and eager to learn
Passionate about providing excellent customer service
Able to work well as part of a team
Comfortable standing for most of their shift
Able to safely lift and move mail and parcels weighing from 100 g to 22 kg
Flexible to work additional hours or adjusted shift times when required
