Responsibilities

Own the ANZ sales territory and develop and execute sales strategies to achieve annual revenue and growth targets.
Identify, prospect, and acquire new enterprise customers across Australia and New Zealand, with a strong focus on new logo acquisition.
Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, managing opportunities throughout the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through negotiation and closing.
Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers, technical stakeholders, and executive-level customers.
Build and expand VeloDB’s local ecosystem through relationships with customers, technology partners, cloud providers, system integrators, and other strategic partners.
Work closely with Solutions Architects and other internal teams to understand customer requirements and deliver effective technical and commercial solutions.
Provide market and customer feedback to product, marketing, and leadership teams to support VeloDB’s continued growth in the ANZ market.
Accurately manage sales activities, pipeline, forecasts, and customer information in the CRM system.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of enterprise B2B software sales experience, preferably within the ANZ market.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and successfully closing complex enterprise deals.
Experience selling databases, data platforms, cloud infrastructure, big data, analytics, BI, or related enterprise software is strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of the Australia and New Zealand enterprise technology market and established customer or partner networks are highly desirable.
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Strong hunter mentality with demonstrated experience developing new accounts and building territories.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment.
Ability to collaborate effectively with technical, product, marketing, and leadership teams.
