Property managers spend too much time chasing unreliable tradies across too many jobs. We're building Dispatch Maintenance to fix that... fast response, quality work, and zero drama for the managers who use us.
We're actively building right now... which means the person who joins isn't just an employee. You're one of the first. What we become depends heavily on the standard you set.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
You're in the field every day. You're the face of the business .. and how property managers feel about us comes down to you.
· General property maintenance and handyman repairs across residential properties
· Carpentry, lock and door repairs, painting, patching, fixtures, security screens, fencing, blinds and curtains to name a few.
· Communicating clearly with property managers and tenants on job status
· Completing jobs cleanly, photographing work, and providing simple written updates
· Flagging issues you spot on site before they become bigger problems
· Representing the brand: punctual, reliable, professional
WHAT WE CARE ABOUT
We're building for property managers... time-poor, managing dozens of properties, and let down by unreliable trades too many times. We're setting out to be the exception.
· Reliability. Show up when you say. Call if something changes. This is the whole thing.
· Speed. Quick response and fast completion is the product. Not just part of it.
· Communication. Property managers don't want silence. Short, clear, timely updates.
· Quality without ego. Do the job properly. Ask questions if you're unsure. Don't cut corners.
· Presentation. Clean uniform, tidy work area, professional manner... every single job.
· Ownership. If something's wrong, own it and fix it. No excuses, no shifting blame.
WHO YOU ARE
You don't need to be the most skilled tradie in Brisbane. You need to be the most reliable one AND someone who knows delivery is EVERYTHING.
· Solid experience across general maintenance or handyman work (min. 2 years)
· Proven track record of showing up... references that back it
· Clear communicator... with managers, with tenants, with your team
· White Card required | Trade licence or cert is a strong bonus
· Own tools and reliable vehicle (essential). Company vehicle after probation cleared.
· Brisbane based... comfortable working south side primarily
· Someone who takes pride in the work, not just getting through it
THE ROLE
Full-Time
5 days/week
40 hrs/week
Competitive hourly
Flexible... ASAP preferred
First pick for succession as we scale
Part-Time
3 days/week minimum
Negotiable... school hours friendly
Same rate, pro rata
Flexible... ASAP preferred
Path to full-time available

Pay: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour
