Full Job Description

About the role.

Moonrocks is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dispatch Coordinator to join our packing shed team.

This is a hands-on role responsible for ensuring the accurate, timely, and compliant dispatch of customer orders. You will play a key role in coordinating product flow from the packing shed through to customers, helping maintain smooth and efficient supply chain operations.

The role requires strong attention to detail, clear communication, and a proactive approach to problem solving in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Enter and manage customer orders and updates in supply chain software
Record incoming produce and packaging, including uploading delivery dockets
Book outgoing freight with transport providers in line with Chain of Responsibility requirements
Prepare accurate dispatch documentation, including labelling and product identification
Communicate customer requirements to packing, quality, and operations teams
Report key records and issues to the Packing Shed Manager
Ensure compliance with all company quality and safety procedures
Operate a forklift for loading and unloading trucks when required
Provide support and coverage for the Packing Shed Manager during leave periods
Work closely with the Packing Shed Manager and Quality Control Supervisor
Support broader operational needs as part of a collaborative team

About You

Strong organisational and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
High attention to detail and accuracy
Experience in dispatch, logistics, or warehouse operations preferred
Forklift licence (high-risk work licence) or willingness to obtain
Team-focused attitude with a proactive approach
