As a Disability Support Worker with Kanda in Innisfail, you'll bring practical, person-centred support to people with a range of needs and goals, and build genuine connections along the way.

What you'll be doing

Help people build independence and develop everyday living skills
Be there for personal care, household tasks and community participation
Support people to work towards their own goals and enjoy meaningful experiences
Stay calm and consistent, including with people who have complex behaviours
Build safe, trusting relationships, backed by clear documentation and good teamwork

You're the right person if...

You've supported people with disability before, including complex behaviours or higher needs
You're calm, patient and professional, especially when things get challenging
You build genuine relationships while keeping clear professional boundaries
You communicate well and keep good records
You're reliable, flexible, and keen to keep learning and growing
