CPC Services (NQ) Pty Ltd trading as Coral Expeditions is Australia’s pioneering cruise line. We specialise in a unique style of immersive adventures by small expedition ship. With humble beginnings hosting cruises on the Great Barrier Reef, the company has grown into a borderless fleet of three ships carrying between 72 and 120 guests. For four decades, Coral has operated with a single purpose – to take small groups of likeminded explorers to remote places with expert guidance and warm Australian hospitality. We offer a wide range of domestic and international destinations. Coral is part of the NRMA Group, a member-owned brand that also operates NRMA Parks & Resorts, SIXT car rental, NRMA Electric Vehicle charging network and various marine businesses.

Job Description

Our Chefs manage the Galley in an efficient and effective manner, ensuring the timely delivery of quality meals to guests and crew as per the menu plan.

What You'll Do

At least 3 years experience within a commercial kitchen.
Understanding of food cost and portion control.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent personal presentation.
High level of customer service and a passion for food.
Experience in day to day running of a kitchen/galley.
Maintain product quality, presentation, food safety and consistency.
Demonstrated safe working practices mindset.
Tolerance of others to work and live in a small environment for long periods of time.

What You'll Bring

Qualifications Required:

Diploma in Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management
First Aid & CPR.
Passport.

Qualifications willing to obtain with us:

AMSA endorsed Certificate of Safety Training (CoST).
Crowd Control & Crisis Management.
AMSA Medical.
AMSA endorsed Marine Cook Certificate.
Australian Seafarers book or other country equivalent discharge book.

Rosters will require a commitment of up to 6 weeks duration for domestic voyages and up to 8 weeks for international voyages.
