Attria is a vibrant neighbourhood wine bar in the heart of Richmond, known for its welcoming atmosphere, curated wine list, creative cocktails, and our loyal community of regulars.

We are looking for an experienced, passionate, and hospitality-driven Bar Supervisor to join our close-knit team. If you love the energy of a bustling neighborhood spot and take pride in running a flawless service, we want to hear from you.

The Role

This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for a hands-on leader who can seamlessly balance technical bar skill with venue oversight. While you will be a key anchor on the floor and behind the wood, you will also be responsible for guiding the team, managing the shift, and ensuring Attria’s high standards of hospitality are maintained from open to close.

You will step into a leadership role - crafting high-quality cocktails, talking confidently about wine, managing floor flow, and ensuring every guest feels like a regular.

What We’re Looking For

Supervisory Experience Required: Proven experience leading shifts in a fast-paced, premium hospitality environment. You know how to delegate, manage flow, and handle the unexpected with grace.
Advanced Beverage Knowledge: Strong cocktail fluency (classic and creative) and deep wine savvy. You should be highly comfortable recommending wines and elevating our beverage program.
Hands-on Leadership: A "lead by example" mentality. You are just as comfortable running plates, clearing tables, and supporting the team as you are managing the floor.
Hospitality First: A professional, charismatic, and grounded presence. You know how to read a room, build rapport with regulars, and handle guest feedback smoothly.
Efficiency & Accountability: Trustworthy and organized. You can manage cash handling, venue security, and end-of-night close-outs efficiently.
Credentials: A current, valid Victorian RSA certificate is essential.

Hours & Availability

This is a casual position offering 10–20 hours per week, making it perfect for someone looking for a stable, part-time leadership role.

Late-Night Availability: You must be available to work late-night weekend shifts (finishing around 1:00 AM) on either Friday or Saturday nights.
Roster Flexibility: Shifts will also include potential weeknights and occasional Sundays.
