Description:
About the Role:
As an Occupational Therapist with Down South Therapy, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our clients. You’ll work closely with children, adults, and families to assess, diagnose, and treat a range of diagnoses and presentations. Your role will involve developing and implementing individualised treatment plans, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and contributing to community outreach initiatives.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Work from our Rockingham office, schools and the community, supporting children, teenagers, and adults
Provide 1:1 and group therapy, collaborating with teachers and families
Develop and deliver individualised therapy plans in a transdisciplinary team
Work within location-based schedules to limit travel and maximise client impact
Work with community-based clients to expand your clinical interests
Take part in weekly supervision and mentoring to grow in your role
Contribute to projects, team learning, and innovation in your area of interest

Skills and Experiences:

You Will Need to Have:

Relevant Occupational Therapy Degree/Masters qualification
AHPRA Registration
Working With Children Check
NDIS Worker Screening Check
National Police Check
Driver’s Licence

It would be desirable for you to have:

Experience with Autism in ESC settings
