Full Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults in diesel engines.
Perform scheduled servicing, maintenance, and repairs on diesel vehicles and machinery.
Conduct safety inspections and identify potential issues before they become major faults.
Rebuild, replace, and repair engines, transmissions, fuel systems, brakes, steering, and suspension systems.
Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and document findings.
Complete job cards, service reports, and communicate clearly with the team and customers.
Ensure all work is carried out safely and complies with industry standards.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment.

Skills & Experience, Qualifications

Proven experience as a Forklift or Diesel Mechanic.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good understanding of safety procedures and workplace practices.
Valid driver’s licence (HR or MR desirable but not essential).
Forklift or other machinery experience is an advantage.

Forklift or Diesel Mechanic : 2 years (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:

Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology (Forklift) (Preferred)
