Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults in diesel engines.
- Perform scheduled servicing, maintenance, and repairs on diesel vehicles and machinery.
- Conduct safety inspections and identify potential issues before they become major faults.
- Rebuild, replace, and repair engines, transmissions, fuel systems, brakes, steering, and suspension systems.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and document findings.
- Complete job cards, service reports, and communicate clearly with the team and customers.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and complies with industry standards.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment.
Skills & Experience, Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Forklift or Diesel Mechanic.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good understanding of safety procedures and workplace practices.
- Valid driver’s licence (HR or MR desirable but not essential).
- Forklift or other machinery experience is an advantage.
